(Henderson, Maryland) - Maryland State Police said Caroline County Circuit Court Judge Jonathan Newell, 50, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound the same day FBI agents went to his house to arrest him. Investigators said Newell was wanted on federal charges for child porn. Investigators found a hard drive in a safe at Newell's residence that showed videos of young boys showering, the affidavit said.
