LGBTQ Activist Hospitalized In Paris  (Paris) - Pierre Piccavet, a police officer and president of FLAG!, an association defending LGBTQ people's rights, was hospitalized in central Paris. The attack occurred overnight into Sunday in the historic Marais district as he was leaving a bar. According to Piccavet, the attacker repeatedly shouted homophobic insults at him. The suspect was taken into custody.
