Florida Passes Bill Raising Minimum Age For Strippers
(Tallahassee, Florida) - Citing anti-human trafficking measures, the state legislature of Florida has adopted a bill requiring strippers to be at least 21 years of age in order to dance at adult venues. Both chambers of the legislature, near unanimously, passed the bill. The bill would drastically change this. Adult venue staffers aged 18 to 20 would not face penalties or sanctions from the state.
