(New York, New York) - Gawker.com will cease publishing this week as its parent company prepares to be acquired out of bankruptcy by Univision Communications Inc. The site had been at the center of series of damaging lawsuits over posts it had published. One of those stories, which featured a sex tape involving former wrestler Hulk Hogan, ultimately forced the company into bankruptcy.
