Suit Seeking Legal Prostitution Dismissed

(Sacramento, Calif.) - A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit seeking to legalize prostitution, which was filed last year in California. The U.S. District Court Judge handling the lawsuit noted that prostitution is not protected under the U.S. Constitution. The lawsuit was filed last year by a San Francisco-based group, which is composed of current and former sex workers as well as a would-be client. Posted 4/1/16
