(Sacramento, Calif.) - A statewide condom bill by Assemblyman Isadore Hall (D-Compton) has advanced to the Senate after a 41-12 vote. The bill now goes to the Senate. The Free Speech Coalition, representing the adult industry, claims the law is aimed at driving a legal business out of California and warned that further regulations on condoms and testing would force the film sector, worth an $9 to $13 billion a year, from the state.
